Spring Cottage is built into the slope of Loughrigg Fell and has its living rooms and kitchen upstairs to take full advantage of the views down to the river and over to Wansfell Pike whilst the downstairs bedrooms lead directly out into the lower rear garden.

This leads directly from the car park area. Comfortable seating for 2 (especially nice on sunny mornings) plus somewhere to sit and take off wet gear and muddy boots.

Washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a separate additional freezer. Plastic picnic plates are stored in the wall units for use outside.

Large oak table seating 8+ in comfort. In the evening and night this spectacular room is transformed by a consultant designed Lutron lighting control system with multiple practical and mood lighting options all accessed by the touch of a button.

At the far end is the snug with a cosy seating area by the inglenook fireplace with slate hearth and wood store. The slate hearth is sourced from Broughton Moor near Coniston and features a mid green stone highlighted by quartz veins and layers.

55 inch ultra HD TV plus ultra HD blu ray player and soundbar.
Traditional HI FI system, with CD player and radio plus Sonos system as an alternative.
The Sonos sound system can be played throughout the upper floor with music zones in the sitting room, kitchen, dining area and garden room. The system does not have its own music library but you can play your own music by downloading the Sonos app on your Smart phone either before or after you arrive at the cottage. It will also link to the sitting room CD player.
Garden Room
A superb daytime room with extensive views through the solid oak framed full length windows to Wansfell Pike and towards Ambleside. There are double doors leading to the patio overlooking the garden and upwards into the woodland. There is a wood burning stove for use in cold weather.
Upstairs Bedoom
Twin bedded room with views to the back of the cottage and the woodland. En suite bathroom with WC, basin and rain shower.

Master Suite
This is the stunning master bedroom incorporating a super king-sized bed, fitted wardrobes and a wall mounted TV.
Double doors lead to the conservatory and further doors to the garden.
There is a super-sized luxury bathroom comprising his and hers wash basins and a full length illuminated mirror, a walk in Monsoon shower, WC and double sided built in bath.
Taking music to new levels, the bath is equipped with Bluetooth speakers for your ultimate enjoyment whilst having a hot soak after the end of a long day.
There is also mood lighting including colour change lighting to the shower and under floor heating.
Double Bedroom
This is a smaller bedroom with an ordinary sized double bed and fitted furniture.
